Hello and Welcome! My name is Katie and I am an ultra runner and rock climber teaching health & embodied living principles & practices.

My work combines two platforms: Upward Slopes and Your Health, Reprogrammed, as I work to balance:

  1. My experience as a biomedical scientist & engineer focused on understanding human health and working through complex problems.
  2. My experience as a yogi, trail runner, and nature writer experiencing what it’s like to be a human being on this remarkable planet in these trying times.
  3. Bringing it all together in a fun, creative, and perhaps even useful blend of writings and programs focused on healing ourselves, our communities, and our dear planet
