Embrace Your Journey to Better Health
I believe we are here on this incredible planet to enjoy this life we've been given. Along the way, we also have some important work to do to keep ourselves energized and physically capable of taking on each day.
The Journey to Better Health is a path that I developed to help us each find the next step forward on our own health journeys.
My programs are set up to address all 4 stages of the journey, with different options to meet you where you are at during this stage of your life.

My approach is two-fold.
For one, I approach holistic health with a key focus on metabolic health, helping each individual analyze their dietary and exercise patterns while also supporting an overall stress balance. Using The Reprogrammed Systems Models, I can help each individual understand how their behavior ties in directly with common pathways of poor health and disease progression.
While doing so, we focus on science-backed principles while integrating practices with each individual's personal experience, including:
- life circumstances and preferences
- genetics, epigenetics, and health history
By focusing on metabolic health, we can work to feel better each day (i.e., have more energy, mental clarity, and an overall enhanced physical ability to take on life) while also reducing the risk of developing all those common diseases that our world is so familiar with (e.g., diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, dementia, and more).
Along the way, it's about so much more than just the body's physical health. Each individual's mental health and well-being play a key role in their ability to move through that health transformation, which is why I call upon additional frameworks (e.g., yoga and other embodiment practices) to ensure that mental and physical health are being accounted for.
It is all a part of the greater holistic health approach that I developed as a Biomedical Engineer, Health Coach, and Yoga Therapist.
Metabolic Health Coaching
We are all on our own health journey, comprised of unique challenges given our own genetics, epignetics, life history, current circumstances, current preferences, and other factors that impact how we each feel on a day-to-day basis.
Because of this, it is important that any work being done takes your individuality into the equation.
That being said, given the way we tend to live our lives i the modern world, there is a common progression on poor health and disease experienced by the vast majority of modern human beings.
Through the lens of metabolic health, I can help you understand how common modern world behaviors tend to drive poor health and disease progression.
Along the way, I can help you understand healthier behaviors as you take action to move forward on your health journey:
- developing a healthy relationship with food
- building exercise patterns into your lifestyle
- cultivating a balance of stresses in your life
Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is an emerging field that applies practices embedded in the yoga tradition to overcoming specific health challenges.
Perhaps it is a chronic pain in your back or anxiety that won't go away. Whatever your challenge is - whether it arises from your body or mind -I can help by providing specific practices for you.
To bring a greater state of health back into our world by learning to make decisions that best support our own selves - body & mind; meanwhile, we work to sync our behavior with the greater biological systems we live in. By doing this, we support the health of our own selves along with this beautiful planet of ours.
Based in systems biology and engineering, the idea is to step away from the oversimplified, linear frameworks that have been traditionally used to direct our health-conscious decisions. Instead, we embrace an understanding of the underlying mechanisms driving pathways of poor health and disease progression (as compared to pathways of homeostasis and good health).
The Why
I believe each of us human beings deserves to be able to live out this one precious life to the fullest - chasing after our own goals, dreams, ambitions, and desires. To do it, we need to understand how to support the health of our own selves - body and mind - so that we have the energy, mental clarity, and physical ability to take on each day.
