Cultivating Stillness – A journey into inner peace and clarity

Grounded. Focused. Centered. At Peace.

Your path to Inner Stillness

In a world ripe with chaos and overwhelm, it can seem difficult (if not impossible) to find inner peace, as well as inner clarity, so that you can experience life in a grounded, centered, skillful way that you deserve to live.

Despite what the chaos in this world, and within your mind might be showing you, the truth is that this inner peace is completely possible, if only you give yourself the gift of practice.

Stillness Speaks is a self-paced program here to guide you into a stillness practice that offers you the following:

  • A path to deeper joy & fulfillment as you connect deeply into self and let go of the chaos, overwhelm, and anxiety that keeps you in disconnection
  • A path of grounded clarity in service to what matters most. This includes the ability to show up for self, as well as the ability to show up for the world beyond self.

Stillness is what allows for your conscious connection to self to flourish, allowing you to be centered within as you navigate world around you with kill.

When we find those moments in life to become still, we allow the noise of the world to fall away as we become grounded, centered, and able to make clear decisions.

I recorded this message for you

Note: I recorded this video for the original Winter Stillness Event in which this program was created. Currently this program is offered as an on-demand course and self-paced practice. I continue to use this video because it holds the winter energy that served as the original impetus for a stillness practice centered program.

Grounded. Centered. Aligned.

Still, At Peace.

Purchasing Stillness Speaks gives you access to:

1. A structured self-paced program for creating a stillness practice

2. Guided video practice to guide you through meditation and stillness practice

3. Direct support and guidance through email correspondence

4. BONUS - 3 Guided Meditations to further support and expand your practice

In our modern world, it can be difficult to find ourselves in any single moment of stillness, let alone ask that we cultivate a 45 minute practice to sit in complete stillness and enjoy the peace, the joy, and the piercing clarity that is waiting to arise for you.

Not to worry, I have just the path to get you to where you are ready to be!

I know that stillness is an essential practice for all modern humans. Especially given our over-emphasis on hard work and movement, it is wholly necessary to devote a part of our day to letting go of the noise and releasing into quietude.

A stillness practice doesn't have to look the same for everyone. Actually, any sort of meditation or embodiment practice should be able to meet you exactly where you are at. Whether you have 5 minutes or an hour, you should be able to call in stillness to soothe your mind, your body, and your whole being.

I created Stillness Speaks as a program to guide your journey into stillness, and to do it in a way that meets you exactly where you are at, demanding nothing other than what you are ready and willing to give.

Even if you only have 5 minutes, can you give yourself that time to find the stillness, the peace, the clarity, and the joy within?

And, might you even guide yourself to expand this, so that you cultivate this stillness, this peace, this clarity, and this joy all day long?

How it works

Stillness Speaks is a meditation program created to guide you step-by-step through your own stillness meditation practice.

Purchasing Stillness Speaks grants you immediate access to an online portal. Once you are in you will have immediate access to a structured meditation practice here to guide you into a stillness practice.

BONUS! In addition to your instructions for creating your own stillness practice, you can expect 3 audio recordings to guide you through meditation, experiential journey, and teaching points.

Sound fun? Supportive? Useful? Like it could truly change your life for the better in drastic ways?

I know that my own stillness practice has served many fundamental shifts in my life, and I certainly wouldn't be experiencing many of the gifts and joys of this world without it!

It's with this that I hope this program serves you on your own journey.

Hi, I'm Katie, and I invite you to join me in deepening into your meditation and embodiment practice by drawing your focus directly the cultivating a stillness practice.

When I began my own stillness meditation practice a decade ago, I was drawn to the desire for peace and clarity as I made my way through a wild, heady, and stressful life as a Biomedical Researcher.

While I've careers, lifestyles, and callings more than once over this time, what has lived on is my devotion to my spiritual practice and its ability to help me cultivate clarity and calm, joy and discernment, and all those timeless qualities that we as humanity deserve to know.

To this day I am in deep reverence to the gifts of peace and clarity that flow in when I continue to say yes to a stillness meditation practice.

Beyond this, after a decade of meditation, I've been honored to open up to the vast realms and experiences that open as we say yes to the journey that is exploring our inner world through a practice of cultivating attention and awareness.

It is all of this that I wish to bring to you in this program. Together, let us focus our attention on stillness and receive the gifts to be received in this space.

And, let us play as we bring our open-hearted curiosity to the meditation space.

I look forward to being with you in this program.

Big love,
Katie

FAQ

1. Q: Does this program require a lengthy meditation practice?

A: No. Stillness Speaks is designed to help you cultivate your stillness meditation practice by meeting you exactly where you are. This includes your life circumstances as well as your unique wiring.

A lengthy meditation practice can serve, but it isn't for everyone. In this program I will guide you to build a stillness meditation practice of increasing duration, but getting to a long meditation practice is not the point. Finding any duration of stillness that supports your ability to call in peace and clarity is the goal!

That being said, this program is here to stretch your ability to call in stillness. I will guide you to push yourself forward in your ability to be still because I know it to be the medicine that our world needs.

2. Q: I've never been able to get myself to sit still. What reasons are there for trying again?

A: I hear it all the time that meditation just isn't inviting to people who are busy or overwhelmed or otherwise taken over by a chaotic world. But finding stillness within all of this may be exactly what you need to cut through it all.

When we find the ability to invite in inner stillness, it may look like just a couple breaths worth of time to do the job! In this program, I invite you to start with just a minute. Can you sit in stillness for just a single minute? From here, can you build it to 5 minutes? It may sound silly, but this small practice has the power to change your entire experience of life.

3. Is this a meditation program? What is the difference between stillness and meditation?

The two overlap to a great degree, yet there are differences that can distinguish meditation (a formal practice or state) vs. sitting in stillness (what is formally taught inside this program).

Meditation practices guide the individual to focus their attention on a particular subject (breath, a mantra, third eye, etc.). The idea is to cultivate skill around your attention (e.g., the ability to focus it, and to notice when it becomes distracted). Meditation practices often require stillness (although they can be done during movement, as in a walking meditation).

Inside Stillness Speaks, I will invite you to meditate if you desire, but this is not a requirement. The focus of our work in this program is lengthening your ability to sit in stillness. Whether you meditate or not is beyond the point.

We can also think of stillness as a sort of pre-requisite to meditation. Else, we can think of it as a skill to cultivate in parallel to meditation.

All-in-all, stillness and meditation go hand-in-hand, but they are not technically the same skill. We will discuss and practice both inside the program.

4. Q: I am confused about the physical stillness practice and inner stillness. Can you differentiate these two?

This program is centered on a physical stillness practice, which invites you to sit in physical stillness for the duration of the allotted time (5 minutes, 10 minutes, 45 minutes, etc.).

When we find physical stillness, it is actually common for our inner world to get louder. This is why most people quit meditation when they are just getting started: because they think physical stillness should immediately translate to inner stillness.

The truth is, cultivating inner stillness takes time, but this is done with a devoted embodiment practice, such as a physical stillness or formal meditation practice.

4. If this isn't a program focused on meditation, then how does this translate to getting better at meditating?

You can think of the practice in this program as your first step towards meditation.

Meditation is a practice and skill that is cultivated over time. One powerful starting place is with physical stillness. But this doesn't have to be the case. Movement can also be the grounds for a meditative state.

But stillness certainly simplifies things, and creates a powerful space for bringing awareness to what is happening within. The first step to meditation is awareness. From here, further steps can lead you into deeper meditation.
